ahhh I can’t boast enough about this hidden gem of a restaurant in West Chester!! First of all the service is amazing, all the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Second of all, the food is delicious and super fresh!!! I had ordered the catch of the week which was the salmon and it was phenomenal. The hummus is one of my favourites, and I absolutely LOVE that everything is locally sourced, and wild caught. Hard to come by nowadays at restaurants. I also cannot have any dairy, and they were quick to accomodate, making my meal using only olive oil. This is my new favourite restaurant and I would highly recommend to anyone who cares for their quality of food, and enjoys healthy, fresh, Mediterranean fare!!! 🙂

We were tired and hungry when we entered the restaurant, but they had not opened yet and we were 1/2 hour too early. They were too accommodating, though, and they allowed us to come in, sit, relax and enjoy true customer service.
My wife and I shared a small plate of hummus. It was fresh, made with dry beans and served with a generous side of pita and olive oil. The hummus was garnished with raw vegetables and was served on a bed of lettuce. Yum!
I had the Shrimp Kebab Platter that normally came with a side of hummus, but our server substituted it with a mixture of beans and rice since we already had it as an appetizer. There were five large shrimps perfectly grilled and the rice and beans were delicious too.
My wife had the Grilled Vegetable Platter that came with hummus, tabbouleh and rice. Yum, again. The fresh veggies were perfectly grilled and charred.
The atmosphere was wonderful and very Mediterranean.
The restaurant was easily accessible without any steps and there was a tiny incline at the entrance.
There offered outdoor and indoor seating.

We had reservations for dinner the night after Christmas and when we got there they were CLOSED. We had called the week before and spoken with a person so we can’t even blame a reservation app. To make things worse we had our very pregnant daughter with us. Obviously when we saw the handwritten note in the window saying “closed for the holiday Merry Christmas“ we were dumbfounded. We had to walk all over to find a place that could take 5 people with no reservation. Just the worst experience…what should have been a lovely time, the evening after Christmas, turned into an ordeal. The Mediterranean won’t ever get our business but Mercato, who kindly made room for us, will be our new favorite. We’ll be recommending it to all our friends. As for The Mediterranean? We’d been looking forward to trying them out but we’ll never go back. And I have to say, reserve at your own risk

Jen is amazing! So knowledgeable of the menu and has the best recommendations. I’ve been twice and had her both times and she rocks. The food is also AMAZING!!!! The meat pie and pesto pita were so light and fresh tasting. I got scallops over linguine and my partner got tuna kabobs, everything was perfectly cooked! Can’t recommend The Mediterranean enough if you’re in town looking for something different

The food was really mediocre. The food arrived late and the order was not accurate. The second floor of the restaurant was noisy. We were not able to speak or even hear the waiter. I am not going back.

After reading some of the reviews wasn't sure but gave it a chance anyway the service the food the atmosphere was on point the appetizers were delicious get the humus you won't be disappointed also the main courses were awesome Lobster ravioli was fresh and homemade but the best part was the lamb chops a must have!!

The linguine with white wine sauce, pesto, and mushrooms was good, but a little light on flavor, and was too watery, but I enjoyed it. The Mediterranean salad was so fresh and delicious, with extremely refreshing vinaigrette. The roasted red peppers bruschetta for an appetizer was some of the best I’ve ever had. Service was exceptional and prices were reasonable.
