Why does Meted power go out when the wind blows? Horrible company. They take hours to restore it. And always states pending investigation. Give us the reason why the power keeps going out. Upgrade your grid because it’s embarrassing. 2nd time in less than 2 weeks we have power out in our area. It’s 55 degrees and sunny. Bring PPL in. They run circles around you.

Power goes out so frequently. Its ridiculous. Losing power without damage from storms or wind is so aggravating. Take better care of the lines and potentially dangerous trees! We are people, it's 2024, bills are expensive and power isn't even reliable. The estimated times are always hours longer than initial times. Please do better.

You can always count on special Ed to leave you without power at least once a month. This time during the worst cold snap we've had yet.

Preventive maintenance doesn't seem to be in the vocabulary for these people. Or they simply won't spend the money on it because corporations prioritize greed over service quality.

Several cracked poles, overhanging trees that a 3 year old could tell you is going to come down with the slightest bit of force. Id trust doofy to be my provider more than these people. My 13th reason to go off the grid.

I don't understand how this company is even considered reliable. Power has either gone out or flashed off/on at least once a month since I moved to Wilson borough 3yrs ago. It's pathetic how expensive light is and this company can't even manage to have there infastruction withstand a gust of wind.

Wow, Now we are being charged a fee to pay our bills. Even through a checking account.

Met Ed to Customers- You all suck, Give us Money for giving us Money, Next will be a fee to process a fee. Then a FeeFee... Bunch of crooks.

This pole has been splintering and falling for months. Maybe close to a year. I’ve called several times. It’s a few feet off the ground. We couldn’t get an appliance delivery and the fuel oil truck couldn’t deliver because he didn’t have enough hose to park on the street. They’ve done nothing to remedy this. The fire department put the caution tape on.

For the last 8 months I've lost power at my house at least once a month. I'm currently sitting in the dark after having an outtage at 6 pm yesterday which was just restored around 4 o'clock today and at 9 pm, went out again. Two weeks ago we lost power for a little over 24 hours. This company clearly does nothing to maintain their lines regularly.

Met Ed is the worst thing that can happen to you. We have been living for three days without electricity, hot water, AC, all the food in the refrigerator is in the trash, medicine is in the trash, no one cares about us. We wait 1.5-2 hours for a call to be answered. Terrible service. We pay all our bills on time and no one cares about us. And they still dare to tell me that this is not an emergency situation... it’s terrible that people don’t know how to work like that.
