Excellent food! Has beat out a few go-to Greek and Mediterranean places I've been to in quality and portion. Prices very reasonable. Some of the best hummus I've ever had. Clean place. Never felt anyone hovering.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and efficient, making the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking great food and excellent service.

Go to this restaurant right now, you will be glad you did. Even at peak times the food somehow comes out quickly, correctly, and very fresh. The atmosphere is perfect and has something for everyone, I enjoyed the covered outdoor seating. I ate at this location 7 times in 2 weeks (and visited 1 other location also). Every time the service and food was stellar. This location in particular is phenomenal, the staff are fantastic and cooks really know what they are doing.

I usually make a beeline from the airport to Meddy’s whenever I’m in Wichita. All the food looks great but I go for the garlicky chicken. Looks like they have some decent craft beers at the full bar. Lots of covered outdoor seating. Family friendly. Parking can be a challenge during busy times. You order at the front, and they bring the food to the table. Highly recommend.

From the clean and inviting atmosphere to the friendliest, hardworking crew to the most delicious food, Meddys is AMAZING! The mushroom soup is so delicious! The pitas are home made delights. Garlicky chicken is a massive filling meal. All the food is quality, seasoned perfectly and healthy. The price point is just right. We love eating here!! Thanks Meddys!!

I struggled with this one. I was convinced that I wasn’t going write a review on this place when I walked in and had to order from the counter. And just to set the stage, they sell alcohol, but that's at a separate counter (a bar, actually), and it's completely a separate purchase and ticket.

Okay, let's start with the food service. Mediocre at best and rivaled by Wendy's. We ordered two meals and a side of hummus for an appetizer. It took about 20 minutes and everything came out at once, rather than the hummus coming out first.

After I commented on the olive oil being on the table, my tablemate told me that normally they bring bread out and you use the oil for dipping the bread.

We were served no bread.

Back to the alcohol. Chris, the bartender, more than made up for the poor food service by being pleasant, accommodating, and attentive. He made excellent beer recommendations and mixed a fabulous cocktail, then returned to the table several times to check on us. Okay, things are starting to look up.

What really changed my mind, though, about writing the review was the food. The food is high quality, real restaurant (not fast food counter service) food, served on ceramic plates.

I'll start with the hummus. I'm a bit of a hummus snob. I make my own and have perfected the texture and flavor to just the way I like it, and this was that. If I'm being totally honest, maybe even a shade better. I like my hummus smooth and creamy, not grainy like commercially bought hummus, and a tad on the salty side. Bang, nailed it.

I had the Spanish Eggplant and a local craft beer. I'm not really sophisticated enough to think too deeply about pairings, but let me say this. When I first took a bite of the Eggplant dish, it was okay. Now remember, everything came at once. But then I took a bite of the hummus with it's rich, perfectly salty, nutty flavor (topped with paprika), and then another bite of the the eggplant, and wow, what a difference. The light saltiness of the hummus brought out the sweetness of the Spanish Eggplant and wow, what an elevation of flavors.

The Spanish Eggplant is braised eggplant, with sautéed bell peppers, onions, garbanzo beans and crushed tomatoes. I got the meal that also comes with sprinkled feta and it all served on a bed of rice.

My tablemate had the Chicken Shawarma with creamy garlic potatoes and I can tell you that there was nothing left when we were finished, so I know it was good.

I took about half of mine, and about half of the hummus side and reheated it for lunch the next day. Yep, it was just as good the next day.

I don't know why they don't have table service, I'm sure it was some corporate decision that weighs cost versus demand, but in my humble opinion, this is regular restaurant quality food and I think they're missing a larger audience who might prefer a more formal dining experience. Don't know, maybe the quicker table turn works for them, but it's certainly a unique setup.

Bottom line. Great food, great alcohol service, dynamic bartender. The front of the house could use some adult supervision, but overall worth the trip if you like great Mediterranean food.
