Just a heads up on @ Modera Clinic in Prosper. They have the worst patient service there is. I tried to talk to the office manager Kaley Griswold was trying to tell her my experience she told me that she doesn’t have time and heard enough. SHE HUNG UP ON ME . Stay away from this place. I was recommended to this Clinic and had been going for the past 5 yrs. and use to make the drive to Little elm until they opened this one up. I bet Dr Huber isn’t aware that this is going on. I went back to read their reviews and sure enough they have problems.

Very unorganized office. No unity amongst the staff. Prior to making my appointment I Called to ask how long will it take for TB test and getting the results back due to the start of volunteering at an elderly center( this test is required for all volunteers). The lady told me 2 to 3 days. I scheduled, went in the next day early A.M., blood work. My volunteer services is scheduled 5 days later. Test results NOT back. I called, sent email to doctor, I even called quest lab. No response other than an AI message stating it takes 5-7 days, give it 2 more days. Now I’m having to cancel my volunteer service. These people only work to get paid obviously and obviously disconnected from quality care with facts. Lack of communication. Kids working in the front and back including the doctor excluding the phlebotomist.

Horrible customer service. I was just denied care because i refused to take a picture. I’m curious why they need my picture so bad when they have my driver’s license. As a family and Psychiatric nurse Practitioner myself I have never encountered such foolishness and unethical behavior. You deny a patient care because you are forcing them to take a picture. You should be reported to the medical board and closed down. Stay away from this practice.

Worst placer EVER! Because we talked about my son's ADHD for 2 minutes, we are being charged outside of a well visit $234! DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. A 2 minute conversation cost $234! From all of the other reviews that I've seen, it looks like they do this a lot!!

They are masters at finding ways to double bill you. I go in for a wellness exam that is fully covered by my insurance. They refil a current subscription based on lab results and then bill me for an additional office visit because of the refill.
I asked them point blank. If I see the Dr for a wellness visit and don't say a single word to him yet he decides to fill a prescription, will I be billed? The office manager said yes because he has to do the extra work to write the prescription. Btw, I told him NOT to refill it of it would trigger an extra charge.
They are more concerned with finding ways to scam and double dip. I've filled a formal complaint with my insurance and I suggest everyone else do the same. All this does is increase our insurance rates.

I had a very bad experience with one of the doctors at Modera Dr.Blair T. The bedside manner was dismissive. I paid $250 (because I don’t currently have insurance) to see her and the bare minimum was done. She sat with me for barely 5 minutes and as I tried to discuss some concerns she said that since this is an annual visit there are time constraints and she can’t help me any further during this appointment. This was unprofessional, dismissing your patient after she’s paid an arm and leg to see you.
I am expected to go see her again (pay another $230) and then discuss my concerns. The front staff was nice however they did not know how much to charge for a self pay visit.
I am utterly disappointed and don’t recommend this establishment to anyone.
Hopefully this doctor can do better next time because she swore an oath to take care of patients. I left feeling uncared for and was distressed.
Ps. The MA Rocket was nice and perhaps the only upside to this disastrous appointment.

I was a new patient and came here to see Dr. Blair Thwaites a couple of months back. We just moved to the area, and I am a diabetic, so I wanted to schedule my initial visit, get my labs done, etc. Dr. Thwaites was really good, and I enjoyed my visit with her. However, dealing with the front office is another story. They are very unprofessional. Being a diabetic, I need to take a couple of daily prescriptions, one being Metformin. Upon my initial visit with Dr. Thwaites, she asked for a list of my prescriptions and added them to the computer. When I called this afternoon to ask them to renew my prescriptions with the pharmacy, the nurse, or whomever takes those calls for prescription renewals at Modera Clinic, told me they could not renew my prescriptions unless I make another appointment to see the doctor. For what? I already know I am a diabetic; I already know how to monitor my glucose daily. I also KNOW that I need my medication to control my glucose levels and I just saw the doctor who went over my history and even went over my labs with me. The lady at the clinic not only told me that I could not get my Metformin and cholesterol meds renewed unless I made another appointment, but that I would need to come in for follow up visits every 3 months to continue getting my prescriptions. She said that is their policy. The doctor didn't even tell me I needed to come in every 3 months to get my prescriptions but apparently the person running the office decides on these policies. What this tells me is that they care more about the money and less about the patients. While I am not saying I do not want to come in, but things happen and what if I went 4 months between visits? Then no meds for a month? I asked this exact question and the lady on the phone that is correct. You need to come in every 3 months, or they will not renew my prescriptions. Time to find a new doctor. Don't come to this office if you have to deal with this nonsense. Not worth it and makes you lose trust in the clinic as a whole.

I went to D. Thwaites last December as she always post on the groups for people that are looking for a pcp. I highly do not recommend going to this clinic. The negative reviews are correct. I went in for acute issue and then she recommended that I get a physical. I agree since it's preventative and covered, wrong they charge me full price. When I called back they only credit me $43 back and said they would work on the rest but still to this day no response from my email I sent them. On top of that the medicine she prescribes are unaffordable and doesn't work with the patient for reasonable medications. I went to another doctor that truly care for their patients.
