Nivia clarified and provided info about the whole process and what to expect. Being my first time, I knew nothing, and she was able to set the right expectation about several other procedures I was also thinking about. I went for the IPL session but was also intereded in the facial hair removal.

It has been a great experience coming here. My technician Brandy has been super caring and very pleasant to work with. She takes time to explain the dos and donts after every session and double checks if everything is alright and does a awesome job with the treatment. Highly recommend the place and the Brandy!

I did not get a sense that anyone here really cared for the customer. My first time receiving a Hydrofacial & it was okay. I get many facials but I usually go to a privately owned salon where the owner provides the facials. Skin Med & Spa is a different type of establishment, they're more focused on the money aspect. Their aesthetician did not seem to have the knowledge my previous aesthetician have. It seemed like just anyone can give these facials. She also didn't cleanse my face properly, the steps of putting on serum, eye cream, etc did not seem accurate. I left with white flakes on my face.
I did schedule another appointment online for a chemical peel but then decided to cancel since I don't feel confident they would do a good job. I cancelled over 1 week in advance by calling their spa. This morning I received an email confirming my appointment. I called the spa, & they reassured me that it must be a glitch in the system. The manager did call after this call & offer to fix things. I appreciate her effort to try to make things better. However, I prefer small business because those aestheticians are more caring and do a great job.
Few days before that cancelled appointment & today I recieve a text message to confirm this cancelled appointment AGAIN.

My third session today. They messed up my timings, they sent me 11.00 am but when I reached there they had nothing available and there was no reply as to why my appointment timings were messed up.,Luckily I had their text reminder that showed what the timings were.
Brandy as a tech was great during my second session however the 1st and 3rd sessions it was Arianna and I was not comfortable with her at all. Very impersonal and just rushes to get the session done.I had my underarms and Brazilian done in 10 mins maybe less.
