Sundays are usually busy days at grocery stores. They only had 5 isles open. The corporate office needs to stay out of scheduling, because there weren't enough people to handle the crowd there. I spent over an hour shopping, then headed to the checkout. The lines of people were lined up back to the meat area and vegetable area, and frozen food area.
Needless to say, I went to Crest Foods the next day. WinCo you need to think about the people you have coming to shop in your stores, and quit thinking about your pocket. It's logical to staff your stores on the weekends also. This isn't my first run with this store. Below i left a video.

I love shopping here. Their prices are amazing way cheaper than Wal-Mart on a lot of items. A huge selection of coffee. The dark chocolate cherry is my favorite. I also love the bulk selection they have. Makes it cheaper to get things you need because you can get as much as you want or need.

Good prices, too crowded and too much time to check out. The savings may not outweigh the loss of convenience and speed. It seems to have been that way since it opened, not sure why. Did see double the usual amount of lanes open the other day, may be getting better?..:/

This was my first time seeing a WinCo Foods, as a regular traveler I love seeing grocery stores in new cities, this place was no exception. fascinating. a MASSIVE bulk section, everything from candy and cereal to spices an pasta as well as pet/animal foods. I couldn't help myself and got some bulk coffee flavors, signs for how it works were clearly posted and easy to understand. There was a well developed ethnic area, both Asian and Mexican foods choices. Seeing the seasonal area was the highlight for us, if we are in the area again will be stopping byt o check out whats changed.

Up to now i viewed this place as mostly positive, mostly because they do have good prices. However, because of my experience yesterday that will be my last time there. They have always been bad about not keeping their self service check out stations in working order. It’s common for them to only have 5 of the 7 working, and not uncommon to only have 4 of 7. The day I was there last week 4 of the 7 were out of order! Additionally, they almost never have enough full service registers open to keep wait times reasonable. There’s often 3, 4, 5 or more very full carts in line at each register, making for ridiculous wait times.

Technically they have the self service registers designated for 10 items or less. However, the sign is not very prominent, so I think I had been shopping there for six months before I even noticed it. Additionally, there are always people using them that have over 10 items, and I had never seen anything said about it to any customer until yesterday. I had probably 15 or so items and was told i would have to go to a full service register. They had 2 full service registers open and two or three people in line at each. At least 2 of the 3 people in each line had very full baskets. I pointed that out, and she absolutely couldn’t have cared less, and it was obvious there was no intention of opening any more registers. Now I understand the need to keep some fast lanes available at a small number of registers, but 7 out of the 9 total And long waits at the 2 I was being limited to Additionally, it’s almost always that way there. The only saving grace was the availability of the self service registers. Now that’s gone.

I’ve probably spent $2,500 there in the last year, but if I ever go back it will be for less than 10 items and likely limited to a few specific items that are hard to get elsewhere.

These people do not care how inconvenient it is for their customers. I’m done with them.

The first time my husband and I came here, the store was so big, the isles were big enough for three carts. There was such a variety of food, bakery goods, produce, meat and cleaning supplies. There was everything in this store except for fresh flowers, the prices were excellent. We will be back, besides there being no fresh flowers I didn't like the fact that you couldn't use credit cards.
